Dr. Moore is credited with being the most prolific sonneteer ever. He was also a Boston psychiatrist by way of Vanderbilt as an undergrad where he became a member of The Fugitives. He was Robert Lowell's psychiatrist (also Lowell's mother, unfortunately for RL), and it was he who drove Lowell who was unhappy at Harvard to Vanderbilt where he met Alan Tate who became his mentor.
