GORHAM POETRY FESTIVAL

Gorham, ME: Self-published, 1969. First Edition. Paperback. Black and yellow illustrated card covers bound with two ribbons, mimeographed pages; 4to. A 43 page anthology for a poetry festival held April 28-29, 1969, with an introduction by Rosen and poems by Theodore Enslin, A. Poulin, Jr., Carroll Arnett, Linda Ladew, James Lewisohn, Russell Buker, Robert Chute, John Tagliabue and Raymond Stineford. Poems by Enslin, Tagliabue, Chute and among others previously published. At best a good copy, the covers mostly detached, a portion of the front cover chewed, and toned. A good selection though of Maine poets and an early effort from a respected poet and longtime professor at U. of Maine. (Not noted anywhere but from Ted Enslin's collection.). Good. Item #16083
