This anthology was published from 1944 to 1974, sometimes as a biannual, sometimes annually, and at times as Young America Sings. There seems to have been a high school edition. Generally four short poems per typed page with title, poet and college listed, and in no particular order, but with an index of poets. Quite scarce, rarely appearing in the marketplace. According to our Jack Gilbert expert there seems to have been a variant in red covers. Spine ends rough, spine toned, still very good. Very good. Item #16004
