Very scarce run of the first 7 (of eventually 10; #9 reportedly never published; #6 a reprint) issues of Thurston Moore's poetry journal. The journal featured writers and musicians, including band mates Kim Gordon and Lee Ranaldo; also, Gerard Malanga, Eileen Myles, Ira Cohen, Charles Potts, John Fahey, Dennis Cooper, Richard Hell, Clark Coolidge, Tuli Kupferberg, Charles Plymell, Bill Berkson, Anslem Berrigan, John Sinclair, and others. Occasional light wear or soiling to wrappers; issue 6 (is the 2010 reprint - 1/100, signed by Moore as called for) with dampstaining at fore-edge, affecting the margins; all volumes except number 6, near fine or better. Most 300 copies issued, some numbered, some hors commerce. For seven volumes, one a reprint and signed by TM. Near fine. Item #15860

Thurston Moore is best known as a co-founder of Sonic Youth; his publishing company and music company are Ecstatic Peace Library and Ectastic Peace!, respectivley. Long interested in the mimeograph era of the 60's and early 70's, he is a noted and early collector of magazines that inspired his own journal.
