This copy signed by AMY HEMPEL at her contribution a short short story. Gordon Lish was best known as a magazine editor: Esquire, Genesis West, and finally this vehicle through which he published work by friends and students. Probably the best issue with besides Hempel's story, poems by Jack Gilbert and Linda Gregg, a long selection of poems by Paulette Jiles and the long story "The Age of Grief" by Jane Smiley.
