Text includes Merrill's poem "The Formal Lovers" (Hagstrom & Bixby B1), three poems by Wilbur and a long poem by Buechner, as well as work by seven other poets, all young and to that date rather accomplished according to their brief bios in back. Published in the same year and possibly preceding Wlibur's first book, published four years before Merrill's first regularly published book, which was dedicated to Buechner, and preceding his first book a novel. Some uneven but gentle toning and minor soiling, still very good.
