The poet's first book, inscribed by Eshleman to Jackson MacLow, with a typed, signed two-paged manuscript/letter from Eshleman entitled "The Light Agenda: for Jackson Mac Low". The letter has wonderful content about the Vietnam War and their academic colleagues. Both are inscribed in Oct. 1967; the letter is inscribed "for Jackson,/from Clayton -/ with light/+love for what/ he wishes./NYC 1967./Oct. Water-stained through most pages along the lower edge, though not affecting the type, and faint, else near fine; the letter lightly toned, stapled, folded once, else fine. (In removable poly protective covers.)
